Job Description

You will be working as part of the Cybersecurity Engineering team providing maintenance, support, and solution engineering for the Endpoint Security technology stack. You will be working with cutting edge endpoint technologies to help maintain and enhance the effectiveness of endpoint prevention, detection, and response capabilities at Visa.

You will be responsible for reviewing and processing incoming engineering requests from Cybersecurity stakeholders and supporting the team in the testing and implementation of technology configuration changes and updates.

As a Cyber Security Engineer Summer Intern you will get to work on exciting areas and tasks including:

• Partner with teams internal and external to Cyber Security in managing Endpoint tools that include but not limited to antivirus, EDR, application control and privilege management technologies
• Contribute to the implementation of configuration tuning and enhancement touch points.
• Work with vendors on providing product updates, bug fixes and managing relations.
• Create clear and concise documentation to formalise work stream processes.
• Meet SLAs by processing requests to resolve endpoint security issues and escalations from stakeholders.

• Monitor and assess effectiveness of cyber defences in place.

Therefore, our requirements are few:

• A student studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as cyber security, computer science, computer engineering or related STEM field and due to graduate in 2023 or later. Available for an 11 week internship in Summer 2022.
• Broad knowledge and experience related to computer systems and technologies.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own time.
• Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional organisational skills.
