COMPANY, TEAM & ROLE OVERVIEW
Montagu Evans is excited to be re-launching our Internship program for 2022. We will welcome 10 Interns into our business over the summer to gain experience in a leading property consultancy. We have traditionally taken on graduates that are currently undertaking a real estate degree, planning degree or masters, however, this year we are opening our doors to a wider range of talent.
If you have a keen passion for property and see this as a career path you would like to pursue but are not currently undertaking a property related degree, then we would still like to welcome you to be a part of the summer internship.
We have two pathways for our Internship Scheme, which are Planning or Surveying.
We are open to receiving applications from those in their 2nd or final year of university.
MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES
The internship will be delivered from 4th – 29th July 2022 and will be based out of our London head office. Whilst we encourage our Interns to be in the office during the entirety of the program we also have the option of hybrid working. You will be provided with a laptop for the 4 week period should you wish to work from home.
Surveying interns will rotate through several professional consultancy and transactional departments which will provide the opportunity to experience different areas and sectors of real estate.
Planning interns will join our specialist planning and development department for the 4 weeks, which will provide the opportunity to work on many high profile planning applications, site assessments and cross-departmental projects.
You will learn valuable skills for the future, building on your commercial awareness and developing a good understanding of planning or surveying.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
You will have the opportunity to work across key areas of the firm, be involved in a variety of projects, go on site visits and attend meetings to give you a better insight of what to expect as a Surveyor / Planner. There will also be a variety of social activities and team building events during your placement, being part of the culture at Montagu Evans. At the end of the internship you will present in teams as part of a wider group project that you will complete over the course of the 4 weeks.
When is the internship period?
All candidates are required to produce evidence that you are entitled to work in the UK in accordance with Government regulations.
