About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking talent to join the 2022 EMEA University Programme.

Programme Overvoew:

For our Finance Programme, participants can gain on-the-job experience in accounting and finance, and work alongside team members to identify areas of financial risk and mitigate efforts appropriately. Rotation opportunities may be in the following groups: Audit, Controller, Finance, and Treasury.

In this role, you will:

  • Investigate emerging risks and control issues; collaborate with other finance teams and business partners to identify root cause and remediation options
  • Record and track control issues; engage with a diverse set of stakeholders across business for remediation and escalations
  • Prepare and present ad hoc and structured presentations on Risk and Control matters to senior Leaders
  • Perform analysis of quantitative and qualitative information to deep dive into Finance Processes for development of risk management strategies
  • Participate in Enterprise wide Risk and Control assessment program

Required Qualifications, International:

  • Experience in Development Programs, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Be a final year undergraduate / graduate student of any degree discipline
  • Have the relevant rights to work in the country you have applied for
  • Be available to work full time throughout Sept 2022 – Sept 2024
  • Have excellent analytical (Quantitative & Qualitative) and problem solving skills, including ability to disaggregate issues, identify root-causes and recommend solutions
  • Have outstanding communication (Written and Verbal) and listening skills; ability to suit your style to a wide range of stakeholders and contexts
  • Have a collaborative attitude, with interest and aptitude for working as part of a global team, across countries and culture
  • Be a self-starter and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, creativity and a passion for overcoming any challenge to get things done
  • Highly competent user of MS Powerpoint and Excel
  • Have experience in leading or facilitating workshops
  • Have prior experience of working (e.g. as an intern or in similar placement program) in a top tier Bank or a Consulting firm
