Available opportunities:

News intern

Our intern will be assigned to the digital news team, which creates content consumed by millions of people every day – from dynamic breaking news coverage to hard-hitting feature journalism. There will be opportunities to hone your researching skills, sharpen your news writing, contribute to CNN’s newsletters, develop pitch ideas and report out longform features. Programming intern

Our intern will be assigned to the global programming team, which curates our homepages and mobile app. This team sits at the sharp end of our output – right at the point where our journalism meets our audience. There will be opportunities to hone your headline-writing skills, learn how to write engaging push alerts, and edit some of our key landing pages. There will also be opportunities to pitch to the news team – so you have the chance to finish your internship with a collection of bylines. The successful candidate will have solid news judgment, good writing skills, and sharp eye for how stories should be presented.

CNN Style & Travel
