About CDPQ’s Private Equity team in London

The mission of CDPQ London is bold while its culture is down-to-earth. This is a very active team currently consisting of twelve investment professionals who work in CDPQ’s direct private equity strategy in Europe. As a new member of the group you will be involved from the onset on execution of large-cap private equity transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

  • Work within the London private equity team alongside experienced professionals and assist them in their day‐to‐day investment tasks
  • Analyze the strategy, markets and competition of potential investment opportunities
  • Carry out financial and strategic analyses as well as operational and financial modelling of potential acquisition targets
  • Prepare internal documents assessing the attractiveness of certain industries and companies


  • Penultimate or final year student from a top business school with excellent academic track record
  • Prior experience in mergers & acquisitions and/or private equity and/or audit
  • Dynamic, curious, rigorous with strong analytical abilities and good interpersonal skills
  • Financially numerate with good Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of key professional databases (Capital IQ, Merger Market etc.)
  • Fluency in English and French (a third language would be strongly appreciated)
