Business Development

Wilshire is currently seeking a highly motivated university undergraduate or graduate student to join our London office in supporting our expanding business development team



What you’ll do:

  • Work with the Head of EMEA Sales and the Chief of Staff on various projects as part of the sales strategy for EMEA
  • Undertake market research and client mapping across EMEA region (asset managers, wealth managers, pension funds, banks etc)
  • Work on identifying appropriate contacts within target clients
  • Help with the creation of sales and marketing campaigns. This includes updating and creating presentations and sharing ideas around enhancing usage of social media
  • Help with required Salesforce work. This will include creating reports, updating contacts and utilizing relevant SF data to help with campaigns and sales outreach efforts
  • Work with Preqin and/or other industry databases
  • Help develop process to identify EMEA RFP opportunities
  • Support product launches



What you have:

  • Willingness and confidence to embrace a new challenge and learn
  • Able to work remotely and a “get on with it” attitude
  • Desire to develop your skills across the financial industry and become exposed to client facing experiences
  • Degrees: All degrees are encouraged to apply, however, a strong finance, business, marketing economics background is preferred
  • Experience with excel and PowerPoint is an advantage
  • Outgoing personality
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and to effectively prioritize multiple projects
  • Language skills preferred
