Job Description

Overall purpose of the role:

The Intern will assist the Sales teams and Traders who are located in the Natixis London platform in relation to the onboarding of their clients as well as participating in the Chief Client Office’s onboarding, advisory role, which includes the credit annual review monitoring process. The Intern will gain exposure to various stakeholders as part of the onboarding process such as: Legal, Risk, Front Office and KYC as well as regularly reporting to the UK Head of Chief Client Office.

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Working with the Head of Desk and their teams in processing the annual reviews by reviewing existing limits, exploring new business opportunities with existing clients and managing existing credit limit requirements. Seeking Business by obtaining, where appropriate,  coverage memos, business justifications and business delegations. Process the reviews through internal platforms.
  •  Working with the Head of Desk and their teams in processing their credit requests by preparing the Front Office business proposal, including explaining the business rationale, detailing the underlying products and benchmarks, initiating the onboarding process for new clients, collecting relevant documents from public sources or, occasionally, directly from clients.Supporting requests follow up (Customer Due Diligence, Credit Risk Requests, Master Agreement Requests)
  • Monitoring trading controls related to credit/KYC breaches.
  • Actively participating in cross functions meetings and projects with Risk, Legal and Front Office as well as taking part in the prioritisation of requests.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and relationship)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Visual Basic skills would be a plus)
  • Autonomous, dynamic with attention to detail
  • Detail oriented and capable of dealing with complex, multi-faceted analysis.
