2021 Analyst 12-Month Programme

Kantar’s Consulting Division is a new kind of consultancy for the connected age, established from many of Kantar’s most innovative brands, each boasting a significant track record of success with an enviable global client base. The result is a specialist growth consultancy with Brand, Marketing, Retail, Sales and Shopper Strategy all under one roof.

Successful candidates could be working on the following:

    • Helping to define a brands place in the world through its purpose and positioning;
    • Developing strategies to turn shoppers into buyers in both eCommerce and brick and mortar retailers;
    • Ensuring a brand stays abreast of change by leveraging foresight and trends;
    • Developing winning go to market strategies;
    • Helping clients understand marketing ROI and its relationship to wider business objectives
    • Building leading edge capabilities to achieve organisational excellence within marketing and sales teams
    • Making sure a brand creates value in people’s lives and plays a greater role in the world by tapping in to human and cultural insight;
    • Conducting shopper research studies to examine key touchpoints in-store and online
    • Helping brands achieve growth through transformative ideas and innovation;
    • Conducting retail and purchase analytics to help clients improve in-store presence and develop promotion and price strategies

Kantar’s Consulting Division 2021 Analyst Programme

Our 12 month programme is ideal for someone with a real passion for helping clients solve their problems as well as a fascination and love of brands, marketing & sales, starting September 2021.

Successful candidates will gain valuable experience working in Consulting on a range of exciting and challenging projects. We’d love it if you have some relevant experience – an internship or placement year, as this will be an excellent foundation for your time at Kantar.

We are looking for superstars – dynamic, strategic, creative and analytical thinkers.




    • Curious, open-minded, agile and willing to learn – always on the lookout for new ideas and inspiration, someone who enjoys learning new skills and working across different projects.
    • A resourceful problem-solver; able to think both analytically AND creatively and bring a fresh perspective by joining the dots in unexpected ways.
    • Collaborative, yet independent and proactive – comfortable with sharing thoughts and opinions to build on ideas.
    • Interested in brands and businesses – how they connect with people, how they communicate, how they sell.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you’ll need to build effective relationships internally, and with clients.
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Effective and efficient time management
    • Proactive self-starter


      • A University degree, 2.1 or equivalent
      • Some relevant work experience – we’d love to hear from candidates who have had a placement year in industry or equivalent
      • The right to work in the UK
      • Fluent written and spoken English
      • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Excel & PowerPoint
      • Experience handling numerical data sets / strong quantitative skills
