Do you want to work for one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?

To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be:

  • Currently studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year or have just graduated
  • Looking for work experience immediately after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
  • Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from July 2021-July 2022
  • Fluent in English



What will I be doing?

  • Support the Global Publicity Assistant on all European based talent logistics including booking travel
  • Assist with junkets and press events (where necessary) including booking press hotels
  • Set up screenings as needed and recording reactions and embargos
  • Assist with asset sites; UPI Media/PUMA when needed
  • Research and provide publicity information where necessary in order for the department to achieve overall objectives
  • Manage sending of screening links
  • Coordinate visas for talent, entourage and staff
  • Support the wider global publicity team
  • Contribute to brainstorms
  • Schedule all Teams/In-person meetings including booking conference rooms and setting up AV, prepare agendas and take minutes when requested
  • Department accounts; raising Purchase Orders and setting up new vendors
  • Maintain team calendars, film calendars, reviews docs, reaction memos, screening memos and distribution lists
  • Keep log of all of expenses and submit claims on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for ordering any equipment for the department
  • Booking cars / couriers

What do I need to bring to the role?

1. Excellent administration skills
2. Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
3. Highly organised and proactive with strong attention to detail
4. Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential
5. Interest in the arts and media
6. Able to work at a fast pace and under pressure
7. Strong team player

What will I learn from this opportunity?

  • Learn how a strategic global theatrical publicity campaign is run from start to finish. Building invaluable knowledge of the different areas of a campaign including; title launches, set visits, junkets, content days, publicity tours, trailer launches, central influencer events and premieres
  • Identify what the key similarities and differences are between film markets around the world and how each campaign must be shaped around this
  • Learn how marketing and publicity assets such as one pagers, production notes, one sheets, trailers, editorial, press kits, film stills and special shoot images are utilized during a campaign
  • You will learn how to support a team with everything from admin and finance to talent and event coordination and logistics
