We are looking for an Events Intern to join us in May 2021 to help coordinate our internal virtual events.

This Internship will be 3 full days per week (8 hours per day), for 12 weeks

The Opportunity

As Events Intern you will assist the Events team with day-to-day operations and event projects.

This role reports into the EMEA Senior Events Manager and will focus on supporting the successful planning and management of event projects.

We are looking for the Events Intern to be with us for 3 full days (8 hours per day) for 12 weeks, ideally starting in May 2021.

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll be providing Zoom production support for internal meetings and virtual events, setup and facilitation of audience engagement tools (polling/Q&A/whiteboarding)
  • You’ll work with the Events team on delivering virtual event solutions and related tasks, this includes experience design, technical run of show, event registration, preparing event kits, and materials.
  • Assisting the Events team on virtual event solutions from initiation to post-event as directed.
  • Supporting internal OW communications – i.e. draft office event launch emails and the events newsletter.
  • Maintaining an update to the Events department intranet page with resource guidelines, the global master calendar, and photos as directed by the Events team.

Who We Are Looking for:

  • We’re looking for a recent graduate who has an up to 1 years’ experience of and an active interest in Events, particularly virtual events – any experience of coordinating a virtual event will be very advantageous
  • Knowledge of event planning and project lifecycle experience is also preferred
  • Proficiency in using Zoom Meetings is essential – you will also have strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • This role will suit someone a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Events and who is looking to pursue a career in Events

  • Can adapt to a changing environment and respond accordingly

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Happy to work occasional outside normal working hours for virtual events – with advanced notice.
