Job Description

About Citco:

The Citco Banks offer our clients the ability to transact, place cash on deposit and access foreign exchange markets and loan facilities. Operating from multiple locations globally, we provide custody and depositary services and credit facilities, with our solutions fully integrated with our fund administration and corporate and trust offerings.

About the Team & Business Line:

Citco Bank provides fully integrated transaction, deposit, foreign exchange and credit facilities to our Fund Services and Governance Services clients. Operating in strategic global centres Citco Bank provides access to best-in-class process and technology.

As a core member of our Compliance team you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery across banking services.

Start Date: 1st of August 2024


Your Role: 


  • System booking of Front Office FX trades (Spot, Forward, Swap and NDF)
  • Issuance of post trade deal confirmations
  • Collateral Management
  • Request for the opening of FX Margin accounts with Citco Bank inline with the interest conditions set out in the CSA agreements for new FX clients
  • Daily running of collateral calculations to determine if any client margin movements are required
  • Issuance of margin call or return email notifications to clients
  • Cashflow Management – responsible for the booking of client collateral movements via SWIFT
  • Daily reconciliation of FX margin balances to ensure all cash has moved correctly as expected


  • Set up and maintenance of static data in-house systems and databases as per end borrower client loan accession agreements or Amathea Investors documentation
  • Cash Management and booking of loan book and client facility drawdown and repayment requests
  • Daily reconciliation of lending cell and Amathea funding cash balances with BoNY
  • Escalation of any operational issues, insufficient funds, overdrawn balances or payment settlement issue in a timely manner to CFP Front Office
  • Daily running of the Capital Model, a key component of the risk management of the Amathea Platform
  • Weekly/Monthly building and reconciliation of Capital model rating results
  • Creation and issuance of client credit facility statements


  • Additional project work or tasks may be assigned depending on suitability


About You:

  • Degree enrolled in a Business, Maths, Finance related discipline
  • Candidates looking for a professional work placement (min12 months)
  • Excel skills and distinct advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to keep calm and prioritize work under pressure
  • An adaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Aptitude to learn new skills
  • Must be available to start in August
