The Position:

You will join our Technology Investment Banking team and gain broad experience working across a variety of projects and initiatives within various Technology subsectors such as Software, Industrial Tech, Next Gen Consumer, Business & Tech-enabled services, amongst others. This role will be based in Westminister, London where you will join a dynamic and growing office of 25 people – across different sectors and products.

The internship will start in July 2024 and last for at least 6 months.

Please note that there are current internship opportunities in London in the fields of healthcare and technology. Candidates must choose between the healthcare/tech position and submit one application only

Responsibilities:

Our lean team structure allows our junior team members to enjoy a strong learning curve and assume high levels of responsibility.

You will assist our team members in their daily tasks that will include, amongst others:

  • Supporting the team in client pitches preparation and transaction execution
  • Carrying out company and industry analysis and preparing company profiles across various Technology sector verticals
  • Carrying out analysis of industry trends in M&A and fundraising activity
  • Company valuations using market multiples, M&A multiples and the DCF method

Requirements:

  • A strong interest in Technology
  • Bachelor’s graduate (you will have already graduated from your Bachelor’s degree at least)
  • An outstanding academic track record from a top-tier university with a strong finance focus (e.g. Economics)
  • Previously completed an M&A/investment banking internship of at least 3 months
  • Strong analytical skills, high motivation, commitment and ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues confronting the firm’s clients
  • Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
  • Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Fluent English speaker
