About us

CFA Institute is a global community of more than 190,000 investment professionals working to build an investment industry where investors’ interests come first, financial markets function at their best, and economies grow. We are driven by the belief that lasting economic growth depends on trust, competence, and transparency in financial markets, and we know that it must be led by professionals adhering to the highest levels of ethics and investment expertise. We achieve these goals by: raising standards of professional excellence in the industry; championing ethical behavior in investment markets; serving as a respected source of knowledge in investment markets; and creating a strong global community of investment professionals.

Practical knowledge. Real experience.

First launched in India in the summer of 2018, the CFA Institute Young Women in Investment Program is an initiative to create awareness about, instill interest in and provide a route of entry for women into the investment management industry.

CFA Institute has long championed inclusion and diversity efforts in the investment management industry. By offering a training program to young women who may not have previously considered a career in our industry, this program aims to not only increase the talent pool of women but also increase diversity of thought by attracting those without traditional finance backgrounds.

Now in its third year, Young Women in Investment Program UK will be providing a path for young people who identify as women, who are graduating this year, into the investment industry.
