This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in Consulting as an Intern in our Life Sciences team! We will be hosting placements in Spring / Summer 2024.

What you bring:

We are looking for internship candidates who are interested in learning more about a career in commercial strategy consulting with a specific focus on Life Sciences. We have entry level Consultant positions available for top performing interns upon completion of the internship. To apply you will have:

  • A strong interest in Life Sciences
  • A strong academic background, including degree level study
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High percentile numerical, verbal and inductive reasoning skills
  • A strong desire to work in a fast paced commercially agile environment
  • Enthusiasm, curiosity and a belief that you can achieve the best results

We offer internships to candidates from a variety of undergraduate subject backgrounds, though it is more common for Life Sciences interns to have a STEM or management subject background – what you bring with you enables you to thrive and helps us to continue to grow. Exposure to consulting within a student society is not required, but you will need to evidence your interest in commercial strategy and Life Sciences clearly in your application. Our internships are predominately aimed at undergraduate and master’s students or for those starting out in their career.

Simon-Kucher is growing. This results in an entrepreneurial and inspiring work environment with lots of responsibilities and a steep learning curve. Internships are the main route we use to recruit entry level Consultants to our London office, so if you perform well during your time as an intern there is the real opportunity to continue your career with us.

Internships within Life Sciences usually last around 8-12 weeks and are designed to expose individuals to working on client projects. Interns can expect responsibility from the outset as a valued member of the project team. Throughout your time at Simon-Kucher, you will contribute to analysis and results and can benefit from working alongside experienced Consultants, Directors and Partners.

As part of your application, you will be required to complete a set of pre-screening questions, including some motivation questions. Please consider carefully how to get across to us everything we are looking for. Your application will be considered incomplete if you do not answer these questions.

If your application is progressed, expect an early-stage online selection test to demonstrate your numerical, verbal, and inductive reasoning skills, followed by a first round Zoom interview with the HR team. We will be hosting a final round interview day in our London office on Tuesday 12th March.
