About Global Markets
Global Markets is BNP Paribas’ capital markets business within the Corporate & Institutional Bank (CIB), delivering solutions across asset classes, and industry-leading services for clients including institutionals, corporates, private banks, and retail distribution networks.
Global Markets encompasses three global business lines: Global Credit, Global Marco, and Global Equities.
Global Markets is made up of over 3,700 staff globally based in EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific, with the main trading floors located in London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Singapore, and Tokyo.
FCT (Financing and Collateral transformation)
The repo trading desk provides liquidity and financing to Global Market customers in bond repo and securities lending across regions and collateral types.
The newly created FCT Collateral Optimisation team’s mission is to detect sub-optionality across the global FCT book and fix it. It will therefore generate alpha either by cost reduction or with incremental trades or moving securities internally but in any case the endgame is to improve our return on Balance sheet.

The long term intern will help implement tools to pilot the activity. In particular:
