CD&R Fast-track Into Private Equity Programme
CD&R was founded in 1978 on a simple premise: good investments result from sound decision-making; and great businesses are built with a commitment to operational excellence. Our investments span a broad range of company sizes, from medium-sized sector champions to global industry leaders. We have invested successfully in industrial, consumer, retail, tech and healthcare-related companies, among other sectors.
Our investment decision-making process is guided by partners with deep international experience who are capable of executing the complex business transformations at the heart of CD&R’s operationally focused investment approach. We are recognized for tailoring our investment approach to our partners’ objectives and we support them to pursue strategic combinations or divestments of non-core asset.
We partner collaboratively with both listed companies, founders and family businesses, and we see many corporations, CEOs and entrepreneurs selecting CD&R as their partner thanks to our strong reputation for trustworthiness and operational leadership. We practice investing as a craft, relying on a dedicated and cohesive team.
CD&R, a global Private Equity Fund and industry pioneer, is hosting a fast-track into Private Equity Programme in Spring 2024. This will be a three-day insight event to provide students with the unique opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the private equity industry.
The aim of the programme is to learn more about the industry in general and CD&R and its London team specifically. You will also gain an understanding of the role and responsibilities of a junior private equity professional.
Students will come away with a practical understanding of CD&R and ‘on the job’ technical and soft skills through structured training sessions and a case study workshop. Additionally, there will be several opportunities for networking and a Q&A panel discussion to better understand a day in the life of the CD&R team.
The Private Equity Programme is targeted at students that have a genuine interest in businesses and the private equity industry and want to learn more before considering applying for a full-time internship position.
Our ambition is to offer a great learning experience to everyone attending. Furthermore, students that have the required experience will have the opportunity to fast-track an application for internship positions. CD&R hires interns on a rolling basis and the Spring Programme offers attendees the direct opportunity to fast-track through the internship recruitment process.
