Job Description

The Internship programme is 8 weeks long and starts on 24th June 2024. It is designed for students currently studying and undertaking a relevant University degree who will be returning to university after the internship. Candidates must be available for the duration of the 8 week programme. 

We are advertising a number of internships across different departments. Please apply to the one or two vacancies which best align with your academics and career aspirations.

The Intern will be part of a small but busy Operational Resilience department whose remits include Disaster Recovery, Incident Management and Supplier Management for the core Bank and its subsidiaries.

The role is a support-based role required to help the team with their time critical administrative responsibilities.

The role will require someone who is able to provide a professional service within a central COO function whilst ensuring adherence to the banks policies and procedures

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain, review, and prepare relevant documentation relating to Incident Management.
  • Assist with the review and maintenance of key Disaster Recovery documentation including external SMS system.
  • Assist the Secretariat and Chair of the weekly Incident review meetings with collation of agenda, incident reports and actions, and ensure these documents are issued in advance of the meeting.
  • Manage and tracking of key incident actions following internal reviews.
  • Ensuring the Incident ticketing queue is maintained, and new entries are managed within SLA.
  • Assist with the collation and production of functional MI for both Incident Management and Supplier Management.
  • To perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Operational Resilience.
