Mizuho 2024 Intern Programme – Risk Management Department (RMD)
The Risk Management Department at Mizuho is responsible for delivering an independent assessment of the risks taken across all the trading and origination activities of the Company, and the revenue generated in relation to these risks. It is also responsible for implementing a risk management framework consistent with the Company’s risk appetite and capacity of resources, in agreement with the Company’s Board and Mizuho Securities. The department is led by the Chief Risk Officer and is made up of the following teams:
Internships
We are looking for interns with excellent communication and presentation skills, who are highly numerate with an awareness of our clients’ needs and deadlines.
You will receive a focussed training experience in a small nurturing team, with access to real deals, with the primary focus being on learning about the different disciplines of Risk and understanding how each of the teams operate. You will spend time in various teams within the Risk Management department, assisting team members in all aspects of Risk Management.
The Internship programme is a 10 week programme starting in June 2024. The aim is that successful interns will be offered a permanent position on the 2025 Mizuho Graduate Programme (commencing September 2025).
Candidates must be in their penultimate year of undergraduate study and be available to start full-time employment from September 2025 and have the permanent right to work in the UK.
