Summer Internship Program
BNY Mellon’s Summer Internship Program (SIP) provides high-potential students with a well-rounded, rewarding internship experience as well as an inside look into what it’s like to work for a global financial services organization that has been innovating and serving clients since 1784. With projects specifically chosen to both challenge and develop SIP participants, our summer analysts will gain valuable real-world experiences working in their respective line of business/function as well as learn to work together in collaborative teams.
From day one, summer analysts are immersed in BNY Mellon’s innovative and dynamic company culture as they will receive:

Newton Investment Management Details
Interns at Newton works closely individual senior investors at the firm on all parts of the investment process. Interns will gain experience modeling, forecasting, engaging with, and prioritizing among investment opportunities. The internship is structured as a 1:1 apprenticeship with a single senior investor, but by nature our work is collaborative and there are numerous opportunities to work with other investors as well as to engage with our Research Associate program.

Post-SIP Opportunities:
Successful Newton Investment Summer Interns are eligible to receive an offer to join Newton’s Research Associate program upon graduation. The RA program is a highly selective 2–3-year investor development program that offers training, exposure, and hands-on learning opportunities to future leading investors.
Program Eligibility/Qualifications:
Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors
Penultimate students, graduating in 2025
Well-rounded and balanced background including demonstrated leadership abilities
Strong written and oral communication skills
Not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the region where they apply.
