WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll work with a dedicated team focused on specific transactions, products, or market sectors in your region, interacting with other Global Banking teams around the world, to deliver the best strategic solutions based on our clients’ needs.
You’ll have the opportunity to work within one of our core client facing teams, such as Advisory and Investment Banking Coverage, Capital Markets, Real Assets, and Structured Finance or Issuer Services.
You’ll prepare and review materials used in delivering our tailored financial and advisory solutions to clients, including investment documentation, management presentations, and pitchbooks by thoroughly researching market conditions, current events and future developments.
You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how various types of financial models are used for mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financing transactions.
Perhaps most importantly for your long-term career, a strong performance during your internship, could lead to the opportunity to join our Global Banking Graduate Programme.
WHO YOU ARE
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
You’ll start with an introduction to financial markets that will give you a better understanding of product overviews, the corporate lifecycle, modelling, valuation, accounting fundamentals and further financial analysis relevant to your team.
You’ll receive training specific to the team you work with, that will build your market and industry knowledge, as well as the necessary core analytical skills. And you’ll learn how we work closely with clients to understand their long-term strategic goals and deliver tailored financial and advisory solutions. You’ll join our Speaker Series to meet with Senior bankers and learn about our different teams and the breadth of our coverage and clients.
By the end of your internship, you’ll have improved your Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and be more confident in your analysis, presentation and visualisation skills.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities for continuous learning and people to support you during your time with us so that you’re well-prepared for your future. Read more about the support you’ll get.
