Since the work is so varied and fast-paced, you’ll quickly develop a mix of UK and US tax technical skills and commercial acumen, coupled with interpersonal and leadership skills that will truly make you stand out from the crowd.

The internship is a ten-week paid position with the US/UK High Net Worth team with Deloitte LLP in London. It provides the best path to a full-time position as an Analyst within the group. The spring internship typically runs from late January through late April, which covers our traditional tax busy season.

As an intern, each student performs the work of a first-year analyst. This includes: preparing tax returns, identifying and researching personal tax issues and advising on itax risks and planning. During busy season, the focus is primarily on the compliance aspect of tax work (specifically tax return preparation) but there may also be opportunities to assist with consulting.
