Your Team
Our 12-week UK summer Internship programme is designed to give you insights into our industry and AGCS’ culture.
Starting in June 2023 you will join one of our Underwriting or Claims teams supporting team members with their day-to-day tasks whilst gaining experience and exposure to the London insurance market.
As part of a global cohort of interns you will also have the opportunity to complete a project (working closely with the Board members to research a real-life problem) and attend training and insight sessions with our industry experts.

The Internship is an ideal opportunity for anyone considering a career within insurance and will provide you with relevant experience that will enhance your academic skills, build your network and refine your professional skills and business acumen.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include
Proactively support the Underwriting or Claims process
Deliver effective and efficient Underwriting or Claims support for internal and external customers
Proactively liaise with other functions to ensure timely and accurate policy administration
Carry out independent research for your department
Assist and take the lead within the Claims Team on claims initiatives in conjunction with requests from Head Office
What You’ll Bring to the Role
A keen interest in a career in insurance
Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamworking skills with the ability to build productive working relationships
You will be a self-starter, able to take initiative and ownership of your work and career development
Fluent English language skills
Further Information
The internship will run from 5th June to 25th August. You must be available to work for the duration of the programme.
