About the business area

Our strategy in Wealth Businesses is to deliver not just competitive day to day banking, but to help clients pay down their household debt and build longer term investments. Our Wealth Businesses is made up of Coutts and Affluent.

Coutts has over 330 years of history and has defined the Private Banking sector by showing it is more than just a Bank but a business that prides itself on expertise and experience. At Coutts, we build lasting relationships with clients to provide a world-class service for them throughout their lifetime, from early years to post-retirement.

Affluent comprises of NatWest Premier, Specialist Advice and Investment Services, and the contact centres that support them. Affluent is a relatively new business area, having been brought together just two years ago. It aims to support some of NatWest’s wealthiest customers with excellent service and advice.

Applications for this programme will be open until we receive enough applications to complete our hiring. When that happens, we’ll close the programme to new applications. It’s important to take the time to make sure you’re making the right decision about the programme you want to apply for (you can only apply for one Intern programme) but please complete your application as soon as you can to make sure you don’t miss out.

About Nat West

We’re a business that understands when our customers and people succeed, our communities succeed, and our economy thrives. As part of our purpose, we’re looking at how we can drive change for our communities in enterprise, learning and climate.

As one of the leading supporters of UK business, we’re prioritising enterprise as a force of change. We’re focusing on the people and communities who have traditionally faced the highest barriers to entry and figuring out ways to remove these.

Learning is also key to our continued growth as a company in an ever changing and increasingly digital world. By setting a dynamic and leading learning culture, our people prosper, and our customers are given the tools to continue to improve their financial capability and confidence.

One of the biggest challenges we all face in our future is climate change. That’s why we’ve put it right at the core of our purpose. We want to champion climate solutions with financing and entrepreneurial support, fully embed climate into our culture and decision making, and be climate positive by 2025.

We’re committed to using our purpose to break down barriers, drive change and ultimately create a great place to work.
