Digital Marketing Internship (13 month placement)

This University intern role will cover a number of process oriented tasks that drive higher efficiency for the overall UKI Marketing team. Examples include:

– Lead management for both direct and channel activities, social media, event logistics, communication & tracking, etc.

  • Support the team embracing marketing digital and social tools.
  • Continued rotatation of interns in the team also allows us to discover talents for potential new positions in the future.
  • Support University students offering high development opportunities in the HPE marketing team, also positions HPE favorably in the social community

Marketing, Communications and Finance executive, UKIMESA

  1. Manage the UKI & RSA social channels and create the weekly schedule, to provide social media support to the marketing team for events or to promote assets. This also includes providing digital promotion support for new and ongoing campaigns & production support for the Technology Untangled podcast.
  2. Manage the execution of virtual events across the marketing team, responsibilities will include the organisation of events, creating & executing the on-line registration process, scheduling, communicating with external agencies
  3. Other responsibilities include the submission of POs, managing the quarterly finance spreadsheet, sending and processing partner tagging reports, lead and opportunity upload and updating the UK&I webpage with new campaigns and current content. To have the ability to scale up/down on supporting team members with executing activities.

  • Looking after paid social/brand requests
  • Talking to the WW team
  • Requests on ZenDesk


  • Batch upload (filezilla and GRM tool)
  • SFDC
  • Pulling channel MGO reports
  • Sending/tracking to partners


  • Finance spreadsheet
  • PO requests
  • Manage the HPSA (Intel process)

Other Responsibilities


  • Creating registration pages/ pulling registrations reports
  • Creating event invites
  • Scheduling Communications for events
  • Creating event schedules (breakdowns of what’s happening)
  • Organising team members
  • Updating the events calendar quarterly
  • Organising list pulls for events


  • Submitting ROMA tickets for new webinars
  • Creating communications for upcoming webinars
  • Scheduling reminder posts

About you:

  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks.
  • Good know-how of MS Office, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with team.
  • Experience of digital marketing via social’s

All candidates must be enrolled in Universities; typically in their 3rd year of studies. Candidates must have achieved or to be on track for 2.1 or above. Candidates would be required to start their placement in summer 2021 and stay in the role for 13 months.
