- Black Heritage Talent Insight programme – Technology & Engineering
The pace of technological transformation makes this an exciting time to join us. Delivering a wide variety of digital solutions, technology is at the heart of what we do, underpinning every aspect of business. Along with helping us innovate for our clients, it enables us to work more effectively and collaboratively across teams. One of the reasons we’re well-placed to do this is because of the shared passion and entrepreneurial spirit of our people, not to mention our alliances with leading names such as Microsoft, Oracle, Google Cloud and IBM.
This programme is aimed primarily at students of Black heritage seeking an insight into a career in Technology & Engineering. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to learn more about our business and develop your professional skills – it could even lead to an offer for an autumn 2022 Technology & Engineering graduate programme. We’re looking for individuals who are curious, ambitious and passionate about a career in Technology & Engineering.
During your Insight experience, you’ll have the chance to meet people from Technology & Engineering who make KPMG an inspiring place to work and explore our variety of opportunities available. Over three days you’ll network with our colleagues, learn more about what we do and the difference we make to the companies we work with, and the communities we work in.
Whilst on the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to take an assessment, and if successful, you could secure a position on one of our 2022 graduate Technology & Engineering programmes. You may be asked to provide a preference for a Technology & Engineering programme that you’d like to specialise in – the programmes we expect to be available for the Technology & Engineering Insight programme are as follows:
- Technology Consulting
- Technology Engineering
- Financial Modelling
- Solutions Consulting
- Forensic Technology
Please note that although we will do our best to fulfil your preference, we recruit on a rolling basis and cannot guarantee that all programmes will be available at the point you are asked to provide a preference, or in every office location.
Our Black Heritage Talent Insight programme is aimed primarily at students of Black heritage. By Black heritage, we mean students who might identify as Black, African, Caribbean, Black British or Mixed/Multiple ethnic groups: White and Black Caribbean, White and Black African.
Capability: Technology & Engineering
Programme length: 3 days
Please refer to the minimum academic requirement for each individual programme by visiting the Technology & Engineering graduate programmes.
Please note – you need to have graduated already or be in the final year at university to be eligible for this programme.
At KPMG, we look at more than just your academic results. We will review your application, together with your performance in our assessments, to ensure that you have the best opportunity to demonstrate your potential. We will be considering your strengths and achievements alongside a number of other metrics, including technical background and/or experience, to ensure that you have the skills to succeed at KPMG.
Throughout the recruitment process we will be looking to learn more about your strengths.
To be successful on this programme, you will be required to demonstrate the strengths that we look for in our graduates at KPMG.

Training and development
As the Insight programme isn’t that long, your focus will be to ensure every second counts. It’s an opportunity to learn new skills, enhance your CV, learn about the world of work and, importantly, get your foot in the door of one of the leading professional services firms. And if you’re inspired by the time you spend with us here, and go on to join us full-time once you’ve graduated, you’ll get access to exemplary training and development.
Additional important information
This is a 3 day paid Insight programme and will be run in 2022 on 5th – 7th April inclusive. You will be paid a salary equivalent to the living wage salary.
If you are successful in passing the final stage of our process, the Delivering Outcomes Assessment, we may reach out to you to discuss graduate programme preferences. Your preference will be considered, however, cannot be guaranteed.
Please note – graduate conversion offers will be subject to candidates having obtained the minimum academic requirements for that particular graduate programme. Further information on our graduate programmes and their academic requirements can be found here.
