What to expect
This programme comes in 2 parts:
Insight Week – 17th to 21st April 2023
Kicking off the week with exciting activities on the Sky campus in Osterley, including a campus tour which includes our award-winning Sky Central building, Sky Studios, the many onsite eateries and our brand-new Innovation Centre
We’ll bring the role to life with opportunities to shadow current Finance Graduates and undertake a real-life project looking at a business case
Explanation of the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification, including top tips on how to be successful from current employees in Finance
Take part in bespoke skills sessions, which will give you in-depth insight into our Finance Graduate programme as well as how to succeed in our application process
Network with interesting people across Sky, particularly inclusion advocates within Finance who can tell you more about the culture at Sky and how you’ll be supported (i.e., employee networks, social events, perks and more).
Impress us during this Insight Week and you’ll be invited to an Assessment Centre for our 2024 Summer Internship programme on Friday 21st April 2023.
Internship programme – starting July 2024
Get in on the action. Experience what working in a dynamic, exciting environment is like. And get a taste of what it takes to become a qualified accountant. The internship is 6 weeks long and based in Osterley, West London with the opportunity to get into on our Graduate Programme starting in 2025.
What you’ll be doing
Spend the first three weeks learning about the role of Finance in business
Collaborate on an exciting, challenging project
Learn how we work with other areas of the business
Develop your problem-solving skills
Present your work to senior members of our Finance team.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for first year undergraduate students interested in a career in Finance (or those in their second year of a 4-year course). We accept applicants from any degree subject.
We welcome applications from all and encourage applications from females for this Insight Week.
The application process Step 1 – Submit your application on our system. We’ll be asking for your personal details, academic information and anything else that you think would be relevant such as work experience. Once your application has been submitted, you’ll be invited to complete our immersive digital assessments. This may land in your junk folder so don’t forget to check it.
Step 2 – Complete our online digital assessments. These look at your Sky fit and your business fit. Why not pop onto our dedicated Prep hub to familiarise yourself with some of these digital assessments before completing them. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice each of these assessments beforehand, so please read our email instructions carefully. We’ve added some tips to help you along the way. There will also be a numerical reasoning test at this stage.
