About you

  • Our Wealth Businesses upReach Insight Week is open for upReach associates to apply
  • We’re looking for undergraduates finishing university in 2023 to take the opportunity to learn from senior leaders from across the bank
  • You’ll be gaining an understanding of Wealth Businesses, and exploring what opportunities are available, and how you can continue your career journey
  • You must be an upReach associate to apply, and applications from elsewhere will not be considered

About the programme

This is a great way to learn more about our purpose, network with colleagues and hear about their experiences. You’ll get a feel for our inclusive culture and what a career in this part of our business is all about.

The programme runs over five days in July 2021 (19th-23rd).

You can expect to:

  • Learn more about our function and some of the interesting projects currently underway
  • Find out more about our Wealth Businesses and how we give our clients the best experiences
  • Learn about our business’s regulatory duties, and see how we’re managing risk responsibly
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our graduate and internship options and the career paths you could take in our Wealth Businesses

About the business area

The creation of the Wealth Businesses gives us the capacity to manage the evolving and changing financial requirements more thoroughly throughout a customer’s lifetime, from early years to post-retirement. We’re building a strategy that delivers not just on competitive day to day banking, but helps customers pay down household debt as soon as is practical, and builds longer term investments through ISAs, pensions, and general investment account balances.

With over 325 years of history, Coutts has defined the Private Banking sector by showing it’s more than just a bank, but a business that prides itself on expertise and experience, building lasting relationships with clients to provide a world-class service. The business is made up of various specialist communities including Professionals, Enterprise, International & Family Office, North & South. Also a part of Wealth, we have the Affluent business which is currently made up of NatWest Premier & Private Client Advice, as well as the contact centres that support them.
