If the above description sounds like you, come and join us for our Virtual Insight Week For Bloomberg Customer Support and immerse yourself in all things Bloomberg. This is an amazing opportunity to learn all about our company, our unique culture and the different departments and opportunities.

The focus will be on our Bloomberg Customer Support department, but you will be exposed to a wide array of topics, people and activities.

You will learn from some of the best instructors in the industry and will learn how to apply this knowledge in a practical, fast-paced business environment.
As you find out about our future graduate opportunities, you’ll learn we host a Summer Internship every year and you will qualify for an interview if you successfully complete the Insight Week.

What is BCS?

Bloomberg Customer Support is responsible for the installation, connection, hardware management and workflow support of terminal clients over the phone and via Bloomberg Instant Messaging. Each representative assists fast-paced clients operating in Capital Markets, Asset Management and Financial Services by installing the Bloomberg software and configuring proprietary hardware, such as keyboards and biometrics.

Moreover, as automation continues to grow in the industry, we are adapting to understand our clients’ technological needs. We solve our clients’ software issues, and we understand how it relates to their workflows and asset-class needs. Working with sensitive information and highly sophisticated tools, we ensure the security of our clients’ accounts and data.

Secondly, the teams communicates with our clients, including CEOs and executive managers with access to proprietary data and information. We set-up, train, and connect our clients to the various Bloomberg products and platforms they subscribe to. Our 500 person strong global team supports our clients collectively in more than 18 languages.

If you are interested in joining, you will need to:

  • Be a current university student and graduate from all studies in 2023
  • Be fluent in English, as well as Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and ability to retain information
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have an interest in pursuing a career in finance and fintech
  • An interest in progressing a career within Bloomberg

We would love to see:

  • Experience in customer support through summer jobs or internships

The Virtual Insight Week will be held on the afternoons of Monday 16th November – Friday 20th November (13:30-17:00 London Time.) You will need to be available to join us for these specific dates to be considered.
